Fable 2 is out but not for me

Well yesterday I got a call from Gamestop that I could grab my long awaited copy of Fable 2 at Midnight but as I got to the store no go for this brotha boooooooo to Gamstop. I guess I will be trying again after work.

A few weeks ago, Microsoft announced that online co-op functionality for Fable 2 would not be ready soon enough to put on the disc. Rather, it would become available for download sometime after release. An exact date was not disclosed.

However, Microsoft just released an update as Lionhead recently completed development of the online component. It will be ready for download as a patch when the game hits the streets later this week.I know this is good news for all those really looking forward to playing with friends online. myself I will be sitting in my living room playing with my wife :) I better get my copy today lol

New Xbox Experience

At the E3 Media and Business Summit in Los Angeles, Microsoft announced a new Xbox experience that will allow access to more content from one remote than can be found from any device that connects to the television. As the convergence of entertainment and gaming continues to attract new people and more families to the category, Microsoft is positioning the Xbox 360 to be the heart of the living room. Big News from Sony at E3

Sony announced it was introducing a new PlayStation 3 model with a built-in 80 GB hard drive for $399, replacing Sony's current 80GB PS3 which retails at $499.

The new 80GB model essentially doubles the storage capacity of Sony's currently offered 40GB PS3 model, which is also priced at $399.

The new 80GB PS3 will start shipping in September, according to a statement on Sony's Web site. The new 80GB PS3 will also include integrated Wi-Fi and a built-in Blu-ray player, but like the old 40 GB model it will not be backwards compatible with PlayStation 2 games. The 40GB version of the PS3 will eventually be phased out, Reuters reported.

You can be in Street Fighter IV?

Today is your last day if you want you mug in the new Street Fighter game.Your entries need to be sent into contest@capcom.com and need to include name, age, phone number, email address and a high-res pic of your face. Better hurry though, entries have to be in by TODAY Wednesday the 18th.

Street Fighter IV or Sutorīto Faitā Fō in Japan is the next intsallment and the first on the next gen systems of Capcom's long-running Street Fighter series.Capcom USA may owns the rights to Street Fighter but the game is being developed by Japanese developer Dimps.

Metal Gear Solid 4 Launched for PS3

Well my prob with Sony PS3 is the amount of games out for the system. The one thing that Sony has done is when they do get a game out it's a title we all love a lot :) Kojima Productions' much awaited third-person stealth action game, Metal Gear Solid 4 (MGS4) for PlayStation 3 was finally launched on June 12 midnight . Hideo Kojima, creator of Metal Gear series, has brought the veteran Solid Snake out to combat on Metal Gear's fourth installment with smooth movements, crisp graphics, and cinematic environment. PS3 might not have a lot of software out but if you have the system this one is a must have.

NWN 2: Mysteries of Westgate not ready yet

All those waiting on the next chapter in the Neverwinter Nights 2 saga will have to wait a little longer. Atari has just sent out word that the first 'adventure pack' (premium module) is delayed again.

Dear NWN2 fans,

As you may have heard Atari, Obsidian, and Ossian have been working together to create a new security system to protect games that don't have an .exe file. NWN2: Mysteries of Westgate is our first product to utilize this new system, and consequently its release has been delayed until we can effectively implement this important aspect.

The good news is, the new security system is nearly complete. Obsidian has just recently completed work on the client side of this system and Atari is currently setting up the production servers in preparation to go live in the next few weeks. Our priority is to get the security in place for release with NWN2 Update 1.14 in July and shortly thereafter Mysteries of Westgate will be released.

We sincerely apologize for any frustrations these delays may have caused to Ossian, Obsidian, and especially the D&D community. Neverwinter Nights 2: Mysteries of Westgate is a fantastic adventure that should be properly evaluated independent of Atari's security system delays. We appreciate and thank you for your continued patience and enthusiasm for Neverwinter Nights products.
