Caprica a Battlestar Galactica prequel

Since one of my fav shows of all time Battlestar Galactica will end it run in 2009 I am not a happy puppy. I can not even start to tell you how sad I am knowing we only have 11 shows to look forward to in 09'. A little hope for the future of my TV happiness is called Caprica a 2-hour pilot episode of a  Battlestar Galactica prequel, produced by Ronald D. Moore. Set on the fictional planet Caprica, approximately fifty to seventy years before the events depicted in the re-imagined series, Caprica is described as "television's first science fiction family saga."

Caprica shows the Twelve Colonies at peace and living in a society close to our own, when a startling breakthrough in robotics brings to life the age-old dream of marrying artificial intelligence with mechanical bodies. Joseph Adama – father of future Battlestar commander William Adama – a renowned civil liberties lawyer, becomes an opponent of the experiments undertaken by the Graystones, owners of the computer giant spearheading the development of these living robots: the Cylons.

They said they would not make it but at this years Blizzard Worldwide Invitational in Paris, France, where Blizzard finally confirmed that yes, Diablo 3  very soon will end all our free time and have my wife pissed at me lol

Spider-Man: Web of Shadows

The game is set in the mainstream Marvel Comics universe. Like its predecessors Spider-Man 2, Spider-Man 3 and Ultimate Spider-Man, the game will allow free-roaming action, and players will be able to customize Spider-Man's aerial and ground combat. In addition, the player will be able to choose the game's outcome and Spider-Man's path.

New Iron Man Animated

You knew it was coming with all the hype and the box office sales let the marketing begin. For those that don't remember back in the early 90s there was an Animated Iron Man from 94-96. Was not all that great as they remade him and never stuck with the Iron Man from the comics. The new series will contain 26 episodes and will premiere on Nicktoons in early 2009. Iron Man: the Animated Series is produced by Marvel Entertainment and Method Films. I am told will be based on the comic version we all know and have a love/hate relationship with.

Uncanny X-Men #500 this July

Everyone knows that I am a HUGE X-men and marvel fan of over 30 years. So it's no surprise that I am marking my calendar for this historic issue coming our way this July. October 2007 we saw the start of Messiah Complex which Marvel Editors believe to be a turning point in the X-Men's 40 year history. A lot of new titles came out of it, including Cable, X-Force and Young X-Men, but sadly some of my favorites were canceled, such as New X-Men. X-Men was also renamed X-Men: Legacy. Marvel has stated the X-Men will come out of Messiah Complex completely changed and fans like myself will be talking about it for years well maybe not years bu5t a really long time lol. The X-men teams disbanded in the aftermath of Messiah Complex, but will reform in Uncanny X-Men #500 which will be the only Marvel comic to date to reach #500 without renumbering throughout the years.
